Fall is the season of change. The weather changes, the leaves change, the time changes, and all in all you may feel your energy changing as a result. That’s kind of where I am today. I can feel my energy changing so I’m doing all I can to keep pushing, but also recognizing when it’s important for me to take a break.
This post isn’t about how to sleep better, relax more, doesn’t share tips on exercise or walking. Instead, I’m sharing how you can host one webinar and reuse it while you re-energize yourself.
Here are 5 Ways to Re-use Your Webinar:
- Turn it into your free offer. We’re all familiar with the opt-in forms that require our name and email addresses in exchange for something we consider valuable. Maybe its a learning tool. Or something that will help us grow our business or engage better on social media. Whatever it may be, it’s valuable. We provide our name and email and in return get something back.Your webinar could be the something back. You can choose whether you want it to be the entire webinar or you can choose to break it up up into various chunks releasing a certain segment over a period of several days. Bottom line? Your webinar content is a valuable item to help while building your list.
- Social Media Snippets. That’s right, you can utilize your notes for your presentation as social media snippets that can be posted and scheduled on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. You have great content from those notes so why note break it up and share it in the social media space.
- Graphics.Building from your social media snippets, use some specifically to create graphics to be shared on Instagram and Pinterest in addition to your other social networks. We’ve all heard that people tend to engage more with images. Create your own based on content you’ve provided during your webinars.
- Infographics.Take your outline or a special section of your webinar and create infographics. If you provided various steps in your webinar, you can utilize those to create an infographic generating more interest in your already recorded presentation.
- Evergreen Product.Obviously you’d like to sell your webinar, making it available not only via live presentation, but also as a recording. It’s in hearing information over and over again that we learn. Your audience is no different. Give them the option to purchase the recordings. Here’s a quick list of how your webinar can show up in evergreen form:
- Audio
- Video
- EBook
- Follow Along Workbook
- Word For Word Transcription
By creating a product that can be sold again and again not only does your current audience have an opportunity to learn from you, but your future audience does as well. Your list is going to grow, evolve and change over time. How will your new followers learn from you? Evergreen content is a valuable resource.
All of these ideas require you to record and transcribe your webinar. A virtual assistant or freelancer can do this for you. When you see your exact words on paper you’ll be amazed at all you have to say and share, and what’s already available as a result of a single webinar.
